Are you new to the ccNSO, or looking to engage more deeply with its work? We have a few ways you can jump in and make the most of your participation.

1. Newcomer Webinar — Tuesday, 7 October 2025 at 12:00 UTC

Join ccNSO Vice Chair Biyi Oladipo for a one-hour webinar designed especially for newcomers. You’ll receive an overview of ccNSO’s role and structure, get a preview of what to expect at ICANN84, and learn how ccTLD community representatives can get involved. 2. ccNSO Buddy Program — Become a Guide, Be Guided

The Buddy Program returns for ICANN84! Experienced members are invited to volunteer as buddies to help newcomers navigate their first experiences in the ccNSO.

Buddies will:

• Guide their assigned newcomer(s) before and during ICANN84
• Answer questions, introduce them to sessions and colleagues
• Stay engaged during and after the meeting

3. Newcomers Info Package & Meet-up

At the ICANN84 meeting, newcomers and veterans alike are encouraged to join the informal ccNSO meet-up on Wednesday, 29 October (09:00–10:00 local time in Dublin) to connect, ask questions, and get matched with buddies.
