I'm very sorry for missing the call on 14 May at 12:00 UTC. It only proves that I shall never put confidence in flight schedule:-) My flight delayed 1.5 hours so I was neither able to join the call nor send in my apologies beforehand.
Here is my update on the actitivies of Academy Working Group.
1. Academy Framework
Academy WG is now researching how to build a comprehensive modular framework, including the existing capacity building programs (like Newcomer's Orientation), Stakeholder Groups' Specialized Programs (like ccNSO's Tech Day) and Customized Leadership Project.
2. Relaunch of the Pilot Leadership Project
WG proposed to launch a pilot Leadership Project at the next ICANN AGM. 25 Community leaders would be invited to join the 2-day (prior-ICANN) program. Each community will choose the leader to be send to the program. New NomCom appointees should join the program. ICANN has not confirmed the funding for the program.
3. Integration with OEP
WG will use the ICANN newly-launched OEP as the integral part of the program and will have a meeting in Durban to discuss the detail.
