Hi Joke,
No title yet but a suggestion for a topic: whois, privacy and impact of GDPR (new regulation on privacy)
Yesterday, a joint WG of RySG en RrSG held an Adobe call and would like that ICANN undertakes a legal review of the impact of the GDPR (on whois, escrow, …)
This WG will hold bi-weekly meetings from now onwards and will also reach out to the ccNSO and its members, especially to get informed on how EU based ccTLD’s are dealing with this issue. The
chair of the Geo gTLD Group also participated in the call and indicated that this is a high interest topic for them as well.
This seems to rapidly evolve towards a topic that is of high interest for both GNSO and ccNSO, so why not create a cross-community session for it in Joburg?
Kind regards,
Peter

ICANN’s meetings team will soon start collecting a list of topics to be organized as cross-community topics for the Policy Forum in Johannesburg (26 to 30 June 2017). To ensure a relevant programme for the
ccTLD community, your assistance in defining potential topics is needed.
Which topic(s) would you like to see included as cross-community rest sessions? Kindly let the ccNSO Secretariat know no later than Friday 7 April, 23:59 UTC. We will submit the proposal(s) on your
behalf.
Proposals for cross-community -sessions should include:
1. Title
2. Background/Importance. Must have potential to attract a sizable audience (200+)
3. Session goals and expected outcomes
4. Hyperlinks to any relevant documentation
Kindly send your suggestions to joke.braeken@icann.org , no later than Friday 7 April, 23:59 UTC.
