Regarding the process of replacing Juhani Juselius:

As you probably know, the regular Nomination period is kicking off next Monday. As Juhani's resignation came so close to this period, we had to think of a way  where the ccNSO members won't confuse the two nomination processes.

We felt that it would be best to keep the same timeline as the regular nomination period (i.e. Starting on Monday, 10 September and then follow it through). However, to distinguish the two nominations (which is important, especially due to the different seating terms), there will be separate nomination email lists and nomination archives.

For the regular nomination period, the usual address will be used: ccnso-nominations@icann.org  and the usual archive: http://forum.icann.org/lists/ccnso-nominations/ 

For the extraordinary nomination period, a new address will be used:  ccnso-extranominations@icann.org and a new archive  http://forum.icann.org/lists/ccnso-extranominations/ (these two are still being set up).

The nominations will be posted in two separate emails, to make it clear what people are nominating whom for. There will also be two separate announcements on our website.
