According to the Affirmation of Commitments, a periodic review of four key ICANN objectives (1. Ensuring accountability, transparency and the interests of global Internet users; 2. Preserving security, stability and resiliency of the DNS; 3. Promoting competition, consumer trust and consumer choice; 4. WHOIS policy) must be undertaken.

Therefore, ICANN is now forming two separate Review teams to review:

1) Preserving Security, Stability and Resiliency of the DNS Review

2) WHOIS Policy Review

ICANN is looking for volunteers to act as “Independent Experts” on each of these teams (please, note that they are not linked together).
