Dear all,

You are cordially invited to attend and participate the SOPC meeting on Saturday 21 October | 13.15-14.30 local time (see: https://icann78.sched.com/event/1T4NJ/ccnso-strategic-and-operational-planning-standing-committee-council-and-working-group-chairs) Purpose of the meeting is to seek input and comments from the ccNSO Council, ccNSO WG chairs and others to enable it to focus on ICANN initiatives and activities relevant from a ccNSO perspective.

 

Included is the agenda:

  1. Welcome and introduction: why invite of the Council and chairs?
    1. Operational and strategic planning: alert community to engage in trend exercises and other work
    2. SOPC may be too isolated need to involve community in its work
    3. PTI budget working method
    4. Identify major areas from ccNSO/ccTLD perspective
  2. Timelines operational and strategic planning
  3. What is important from community perspective? On which area/topic should the SOPC focus?
    1. Which Topics are important for ccNSO/ccTLDs?

                                                    i.     Next new gTLD round?

    1. Which topics ( Initiatives) overlap with work from ccNSO WGs and Committees?
    2. Other Concerns/issues that you want SOPC to pay attention to?

    1. WG/Councillors focus on specific topics (combined Initiatives/functional activities): SOPC wants to use their input to improve quality and relevancy of comments
