Dear ccTLD colleagues,
The DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) is preparing to launch the third edition of the ccNSO DNS Abuse Survey. Before doing so, we would like to provide
ccTLDs with an opportunity to review the draft questionnaire and share feedback.
The survey is part of ongoing efforts by the ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) to better understand and address DNS abuse trends across the ccTLD
ecosystem. This initiative builds on previous work.
Draft review period (sneak preview)
A draft version of the survey questions is now available as a
PDF for review. We invite you to consult internally with relevant colleagues and submit any comments, concerns, or suggestions to
ccnsosecretariat@icann.org.
·
Deadline for feedback: 20 July 2026 (COB)
All input received will be carefully reviewed by the DASC before finalizing the survey.
Survey launch
Following the review phase, the survey will be launched:
·
Survey period: 17 August – 20 September
·
Platform: SurveyMonkey
·
Distribution: Via the ccNSO website and mailing lists
·
Participants: All interested ccTLD operators are invited to respond
Invitation to ICANN86 session
We would also like to warmly invite all ccTLD operators to join the upcoming ICANN86 session on “ccTLDs and registrars mitigating abuse”, where related
issues and emerging practices will be discussed. Your participation and perspectives would be highly valuable to the discussion.
