Join the IGLC Effectiveness Review Team

The ccNSO Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC) Effectiveness Review Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of the ccNSO’s platform function and help ensure the IGLC continues to deliver value to the ccTLD community.

Purpose of the Review

The Review Team will assess the effectiveness of the IGLC in fulfilling its IGLC Terms of Reference (ToR) defined objectives, coordinating, facilitating and increasing the participation of ccTLD managers in discussions and processes pertaining to Internet Governance. The team will evaluate whether the IGLC remains fit for purpose and recommend improvements if needed.

Who Can Volunteer?

Up to five members will be appointed by the ccNSO Council
At least two members must be current ccNSO Councillors
Current IGLC members are not eligible
Volunteers should have a strong understanding of the ccNSO’s platform function and a commitment to supporting its community-driven processes

Timeline & Commitment

The Review Team is expected to begin work around ICANN85 and deliver its final report to the ccNSO Council by the July of 2026. The expected closing date of the Review Team is July 2026. The ccNSO Secretariat will provide staff support, and the team will appoint a spokesperson to represent the group when needed.

Scope of Work

Includes:

Reviewing IGLC activities and performance
Interviewing stakeholders across the ccTLD community
Evaluating alignment with the ccNSO Meeting Guidelines
Recommending whether the IGLC should continue and how its effectiveness might be enhanced
