Following
your letter to the GAC, they have asked for a joint conference call to discuss
our concerns. This is set for Noon UTC on February 17th. It would be
great if as many councillors as possible could attend and I’d appreciate
it if you could let Kristina know if you intend to do so. I have asked Kristina
to forward the dial in information to you.
I
will also send an invitation to join the call to the ccTLD members of the IDN
PDP working group.
Janis has suggested we send an explanatory note setting
out whether the ccNSO are concerned, in principle, with GAC coming up with a set
of principles at this stage or whether we also have some specific concerns on
this version of the doc as it stands today. I will draft something and get it
out to you asap.
