It seems we may have reached a compromise on Becky’s membership of the review team. Subject to final agreement Becky will be on the team but recuse herself from discussions on review of board decisions.

 

So now we need to find a second member of the team as requested by ICANN. The job description is at http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-03feb10-en.htm.

 

Anyone volunteering will need to be able to commit the necessary time.

 

I am willing to put my name forward but am conscious of our discussions about succession planning etc.

 

We do need to provide a name as soon as possible (certainly early next week at the latest) so if anyone wishes to volunteer please send an email. Alternatively if you think someone not on the council would be good please approach them to see if they are willing and let me know.
