NEW: SSAD ODP Project Update Webinar

ICANN will host a webinar on 18 November 2021 at 16:00 UTC to provide an update on the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure Operational Design Phase (SSAD ODP). The webinar will be presented in English with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish available through the Adigo dial in line. Video and audio recordings will be published on the SSAD ODP webpage.

NEW: ICANN73 to be Virtual Meeting, ICANN Board Affirms Intent to Hold Hybrid ICANN74

ICANN announced that ICANN73 will convene as a Virtual Community Forum Meeting due to the continuing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The resolution and full rationale from the ICANN Board can be found here. This ICANN Public Meeting was initially scheduled to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 5 to 10 March 2022. The ICANN73 Virtual Community Forum will take place in the Atlantic Standard Time zone (UTC -4), but the exact dates may change following consultation with ICANN community leadership.

NEW: Moving Work Stream 2 Implementation Forward

Work Stream 2 (WS2) of the Cross-Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability resulted in over 100 accountability and transparency-related recommendations directed to the ICANN organization and community. Similar to reviews, these recommendations serve to ensure that ICANN remains accountable to the multistakeholder community.
