Dear all – but especially the members of the Latin American Region,

As Luis Diego Espinoza is leaving his position at .cr, he also decided not to take seat on the ccNSO Council. Last year, Luis was elected to represent the Latin American Region on the ccNSO Council, starting on 10 April 2013 until March 2016.

To fill the vacant seat, an extraordinary nomination period needs to be held in the Latin American Region. This period will start on Monday, 18 February at 00.00 UTC and end on 11 March at 00.00 UTC.

Instructions on how to nominate and second a candidate will be posted shortly.

Also - many thanks to Luis for standing as a Councillor and his willingness to spend time and expertise on the Council.
