First, thank you Joke for hitting me over the head with this additional reminder regarding this matter.
To my fellow Council members: My gut is telling me that we should have (at least) a representative (“observer”?) on this GNSO PDP. Perhaps I am mis-understanding what the GNSO means by “Transfer” in their sphere, in which case my concerns might well be mis-placed. However, from my position as the chair of the two WG’s involved in ccTLD Retirement policy and subsequent Review Mechanisms, I think there is a need for involvement in what the GNSO is about to embark on, at least informally.
