As you may  have noted, to date the secretariat has not received a responde to the call for expression of interest as member of the CSC (see announcement: https://ccnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-10jul9-en.htm)

To meet the deadline of 1 October when the term of Byron ends, the secretariat therefore suggests to:

• Inform the community that call for expression will be re-launched (Information to go out on 8 August 2019 to the members, ccTLD Community and ccTLD World email list and with announcement on the ccNSO website)
• Re-launch the call for a volunteer by 15 August and until Thursday 29 August 2019.
• Councillors are expected to select their preferred candidate in the week from Friday 30 August until Thursday 5 September 2019.
• The ccNSO Council and RySG are to confirm their candidates by 10 September 2019. Note the ccNSO Council has already mandated the selection committee, and this can be done by email.
• the ccNSO and GNSO Council  are expected to confirm the full slate by 15 September ( the original end-date),
• Approval and discussion of the selection report at the 19 September 2019 Council meeting.

If there are objections, please reply to the list by 7 August 2019, 23.59 UTC. If no objections the Council will have approved the Guideline by 7 August.
