Is any Councilor willing to step forward and be our interim representative on the RZERC?
If not, I must ask the ccNSO Council to appoint me as our interim representative. The (real) ccNSO representative must be selected according to internal procedures of the ccNSO by 30 September. The more detailed plan:
- GRC send the the Guideline: ccNSO Actions Respecting the Root Zone Evaluation Review Committee to the ccNSO Council – 25 August
- Thc ccNSO Council adopt the Guideline: ccNSO Actions Respecting the Root Zone Evaluation Review Committee – 1 September (ccNSO Council call)
- The Secretariat issues a call for Expression of Interest – 2 September
- Close the call for Expression of Interest – 16 September
- The Secretariat sends the names of all candidates to the Councillors eligible to vote – 17 September
- Councillors send their ranking of candidates to the Secretariat – 23 September
- The Secretariat summarises and sends out the results to the Councillors – 24 September
- The ccNSO Council approve the results – 29 September (by email)
- The Chair informs ICANN about the representative from the ccNSO – 30 September.
If you have objections/other proposals, please respond to the list as soon as possible. We need to appoint (interim) representative by 12 August.
