Hello Yeo,

I will leave question 1 to be answered by Byron, the chair of the working group (as soon as he is back from his holidays).

To question 2: No, you do not need to be present physically during the ICANN meetings. You can participate remotely.

Just two questions:-

1. How long (man-hours) is a member of this Working Group expected to contribute and
2. whether a Working Group member need to be physically present during the ICANN meetings (end-2010 in  Cartagena and early 2011 in USA)?

Dear all,

The ccNSO Strategic and Operational Planning (SOP) Working Group is now looking for more members to join the group.

The goal of the Working Group is to coordinate and organise participation of ccTLD managers in ICANN's Strategic and Operational planning processes. The group is regularly producing input papers to ICANN's strategic and operational plans, which the ccTLD community is encouraged to take part of (their last input paper on ICANN's Operational plan for Fiscal Year 2011 is available  http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/sop-wg-review-icann-framework-fy11-24mar10-en.pdf  See also http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/sopiwg.htm for more SOP produced documents). If you attended the Brussels meeting, you will also know that the session on Strategic Issues was organised by the SOP Working Group.

If you are interested in taking part of this group, please let us know by sending an email by the 16th July 2010 at the latest.

Non-ccNSO members are also most welcome to join the working group!

Kind regards,

Gabi
