When I ask myself – was there anything I could have done differently I see many areas that certainly need improvement. I could have checked with our NomCom appointee if he was aware of the ccNSO guidance for starters. It never crossed my mind there was a need for that. As I said, this whole situation is “miscommunication at ICANN’s best”, and Ms Moll is a victim. I have no problems with apologising (and taking the blame if necessary) – that’s what Chairs are for :)
