Included is the third progress report of the delegation, re-delegation and retirement working group (DRD WG). The purpose of this report is to inform you on the progress the wg made since the Brussels meeting. It includes:

• An overview of the activities of the DRDWG since September, and, finally, anticipated activities at and after the Cartagena ICANN meeting .
• An overview of the issues identified by and recommendation of the working group relating to Retirement, Delegation and Re-delegation with the consent of the Incumbent Operator.
  

This progress report will be posted on the ccNSO website as well, together with the following more detailed reports:

• Report on Retirement
• Report on Delegation
• Report on the Re-delegation with the consent of the incumbent operator.
  

As soon as the detailed reports are posted you’ll be informed accordingly.

The working group would appreciate your feed-back and input, if any, on each of the detailed reports either during the meeting in Cartagena or by submitting a comment. The email addresses to submit your comments will be included in the detailed reports and in the announcement on the website.

To be most helpful, you are kindly requested to submit your comments, if any, by Friday 14 January 2011.
