Draft resolution

THE CCNSO COUNCIL RESOLVES TO adopt the timeline as proposed for the special ccNSO Council Elections for the European region, to fill the vacancy on the Council from that region.  The ccNSO Council requests the Secretariat to publish the timeline and start the procedure accordingly.

THE CCNSO COUNCIL RESOLVES TO appoint Joke Braeken as Election Manager for the special ccNSO Council for the European region, to fill the vacancy on the Council from that region.

Background

Giovanni Seppia announced his intent to step down from the ccNSO Council at the end of 2021.   In accordance with the Guideline ccNSO Council Election Procedure, the ccNSO Council needs to establish a timeline for the election of one Councillor from the European region, to fill the vacancy on the Council from that region.  The proposed timeline (see enclosed) meets these requirements.
