Dear all,
As you may recall from the Council meeting in Dakar, Roelof raised whether the ccNSO should provide input into the CEO Search process, in particular on the criteria. The council agreed to try to porived timely input based on the current list of characteristics of  the ICANN Board  ( included). As you may also have noted closing date to provide additional input by email is 15 November.  

Given the limited timeframe, you are requested to indicate:

• Do additional characteristics need to be added, and if so, please indicate which one, and why
• Are some characteristics superfluous, and if so, why?
• The proposed set of characteristics is fine.
  

To be most helpful you are requested to send an email to the council list by 11 November. The secretariat will then collate all input so it can be submitted.
