As you may have noted the IDN ccPDP is reaching its final stages. At its meeting on 10 April 2013, the ccNSO Council has unanimously adopted all the recommendations contained in the Final Report on the IDN ccPDP. As a result all policy recommendation relating to the selection of IDN ccTLD strings and inclusion of IDN ccTLD's in the ccNSO are now the ccNSO Council Recommendation in accordance with section 11 of Annex B of the ICANN Bylaws on the ccNSO Policy development Process. 

The Council Recommendation and related Council Resolution have been incorporated in the Members Report, which is now posted (IDN ccPDP Members Report) and submitted to you as members of the ccNSO.

Following this submission, and according to the ccNSO PDP rules (section 13), you as members of the ccNSO will be given the opportunity to vote electronically on the Council Recommendation. In preparation of the voting we will send you additional information from the ccNSO secretariat on the voting process.

 In terms of the ccNSO PDP we are now at the ccNSO members vote stage (see: ccNSO PDP Process in Graphs).
