Dear Eberhard
I note your concern, however I also want to draw your attention to the extensive discussions the Council had on this matter at its December and January meetings. The outcome, which was agreed upon by all councillors present at these meetings, was:
Best regards,
- The Councillors on the drafting team (which includes the chair of the ccPDP3 RM WG and other members of the WG) will meet with the caucus
- The full response drafting team should be invited to prepare for the call with the Board Caucus.
- The spokesperson i.e. the person co-chairing the meeting from the ccNSO side will be the ccNSO Council vice chair.

As the Vice-Chair of the Wg I do not agree that the subject matter experts of the Wg should be excluded from any meeting with the Board, and most certainly not the Vice-Chair.
My understanding is that the ccNSO should be a transparent as possible.
I can not follow the reasoning why someone who was not involved with the work is supposed to play a role, let alone be the spokesperson, when the Chair of the Wg is a current Councilor.
While I agree that Council should drive the process, for the avoidance of doubt, I formally protest both decisions.
Please bring this to the attention of Council, and I also do not agree that my protest and request for review of the Council decisions should be handled by an individual but should be decided by Council.

Dear all,
As you will recall Becky Burr in her role as chair of the Board Caucus ccPDP3 RM, accepted the invitation to discuss any ambiguities following the ccNSO Council responses on the questions re ccPDP3 RM. This meeting was already tentatively scheduled for 30 January 2025 and is now confirmed.
The caucus is expected to send Alejandra a letter shortly, and as soon it is received will be forwarded to you. This letter will include the three (3) to discuss further to ensure a shared understanding of the ccNSO’s intent and objectives for the CCRM policy recommendations. As soon as the letter is received it will be forwarded to this group.
You are kindly invited to participate in a meeting to prepare for the meeting with the Board caucus and staff. The ccNSO Council agreed that only Councillors should attend the meeting with the Board, and Jordan and Jordan, in his capacity as vice-chair the spokesperson.
Kind regards,
Bart
