During its latest face-to-face meeting in Hyderabad at the occasion of ICANN57, the ccNSO Council adopted the Election Report for the general Council Elections, and appointed the following candidates to the ccNSO Council:

REGULAR COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Africa: Souleymane Oumtanaga (.ci)

Asia-Pacific: Hirofumi Hotta (.jp)

Europe: Nigel Roberts (.jj & .ge)

Latin America/Caribbean: Alejandra Reynoso (.gt)

North America: Stephen Deerhake (.as)

The elected candidates will take their seat at the end of the ccNSO Council meeting in Copenhagen (ICANN58).

SPECIAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS – African region

The ccNSO Council also adopted the Election Report for the Special Council Elections 2017 for the African Region. Abdalla Omari (.ke), the elected candidate, took his seat at the end of the ccNSO Council meeting held on 7 November 2016 in Hyderabad (ICANN57). His term ends in March 2018.
