Dear all,

As you may recall the ccNSO Council initiated the process to provide a ccNSO Response on the NTIA Further Notice of Inquiry. As part of this process the ccNSO membership will be requested to provide input and feed-back etc. on the draft Response. Given the deadline for submission, 29 July 2011, the drafting team wants to give you a heads-up before you will receive the Draft ccNSO Response.

Currently a draft prepared by the drafting team is with the ccNSO council for their comments, if any. The updated draft will be send to the ccNSO members list for your comments and input. Target date to send it to you is 13 July 2011. To be most helpful the drafting team will appreciate your comments and feed-back by 20 July 2011.   

Background
The NTIA of the USG published its Further Notice of Inquiry regarding its IANA Functions Contract (the IANA contract), in particular on the Statement of Works (SOW) that will be contained in the future IANA Function Contract and proposed changes to the SOW. Closing date for submissions is Friday 29 July.

The ccNSO has made a submission on the Notice of Inquiry on 29 March 2011 (see: http://ccnso.icann.org/about/ccnso-response-ntia-noi-iana-29mar11-en.pdf).
