For your information, I received a letter from the ICANN Board on 06 January 2022 regarding Reviewing IDN tables for the IDN ccTLDs for security and stability of IDN implementation. 

Yesterday I forwarded it to the leadership of the ccNSO PDP4 Working Group, and requested them to ask the Variant Management Subgroup to consider if IDN tables should also be reviewed for a secure and stable design along with the applied-for string, as part of the evaluation for IDN ccTLD applications. I have also requested them to report their findings in due course, and I will then inform the Board accordingly.
