In preparation of the ccNSO Council meeting #202 held on Thursday, 15 February 2024, I am sending you the proposed draft of the ccNSO Council election guideline. The draft was revised by GRC.  Major changes are marked in yellow.

Highlights

• Section 3.2: addition regarding nominations or secondments from non-Representatives
• Section 6.1: addition regarding quorum
• Section 6.2: anonymous voting – for discussion and decision
• Section 7.1: plurality of the votes versus majority of the votes
• Section 7.2: Removal of a Councillor, reasons as per section 10.3(f) of the Bylaws

Background

Following Council’s adoption of the latest ccNSO Council Election Report in December 2023, GRC was tasked to review the applicable guideline, to address the observations by the Election Process Manager.
