Dear Colleagues, Here is a short update on SSR2 from our members to that review team Boban, Zarko, and Alain: -- We are currently preparing a first draft document, which will contain about 10 - 15 recommendations at the end and which should be presented at the next ICANN meeting. The draft report may also be ready, but its content will need more discussions as we have many more recommendations, which must be aggregated and agreed on in the first step. So doing, we may loose the measurability and specificity of some recommendations. We have now split all existing recommendations among ourselves and are working toward the ICANN meeting. The active participation of about 6-8 participants has stabilized and since our last f2f meeting in Brussels, we now have a Technical Writer on board. Danko Jevtovic (ICANN Board representative) has also been accompanying the SSR2RT since Kobe, so that we have now also received more regularity here. We are looking forward to the result. The methodology and the approach to the work, have led to some back and forward discussions, some inconsistencies in actions, and disruptions in the last months. -- Unfortunately, right after I received the update, it turmed out that the team has lost their technical writer...
