Xplane, professional facilitators who have worked with the ICANN Board, staff and some community groups, will help us run a cross-constituency brainstorming and discussion session to yield focused input for ICANN's new strategic plan. This session also should help prompt more strategic conversations during our week in Durban and beyond. Building on previous discussions <https://myicann.org/join-strategy-conversation?language=en> about how to help prepare ICANN for an increasingly complex world, this session will solicit input on eight key areas of consideration for the new strategic plan: role clarity; community; users; internationalization and regional development; Internet governance; security and stability; operational excellence; and domain name industry engagement.
