Many ccTLD allow only registration by people or organisations located in the country (or having a link with the country).

But this one is more original: it *forbids* registration from one country:

2. Any Israeli individual or entity shall not be eligible for the registration of domain name(s) under .ae. The UAEnic shall have the right to remove any domain name which the Israeli Boycott Office Rules and Regulations in the UAE decide that it is similar or identical to an Israeli's, or any Intellectual Property Right belonging to person(s) under an interdict by virtue of a decision to that effect.
