ICANN Board resolution 2019.09.8.05 (Fundamental Bylaw change of Section 18.7(b))
Greetings, I am very pleased to report that the GNSO, via their Council (in a unanimous vote), has voted in favor of the ccNSO requested change to Section 18.7(b) of the Bylaws regarding the composition of the IANA Naming Function Review Team. We have thus achieved unanimous approval of the Bylaw change across all the SO/AC’s. Katrina deserves a round of applause from us for her leadership on this issue. Upon the expiry of the Approval Action Decision Period (07:59 UTC on 29 November) I will, acting on behalf of the Empowered Community Administration, transmit to the ICANN Corporate Secretary the results of the Decisional Participants, which will conclude the Bylaw amendment process. Best Regards, /Stephen
