Dear fellow ccTLD Managers,
This email concerns the IANA Stewardship transition from NTIA to the multi-stakeholder Internet Community. It may have an impact on your operations and so your comments are invited - please give us your opinions as it will assist us understand what you would like in an ideal world.
As you may have noted the public comment on the transition proposal has opened yesterday ( https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2015-04-22-en ). In order to brief the community on the cross community working group (CWG) documents and what is contained in them there will be two identical webinars on Friday 24 April 2015 for the whole community 06:00 07:30 UTC and 14:00 15:30 UTC (see for details: https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2015-04-16-en)
Following these general webinars, we, the ccTLD Community Representatives on the CWG - Stewardship Group, kindly invite you to webinars we will be conducting specifically for the ccTLD community. The max 1 hour webinars are scheduled on the following dates:
* Tuesday 28th April 17:00 UTC (Europe, Africa, Latin America, North America) * Wednesday 29th April 06:00 UTC (Asia, Europe, Africa)
The details for these webinars will be provided in a separate email.
In addition to the the webinars, we will also provide you an overview of the proposal prior to the webinar.
