Subject: ICANN63 TLD-OPS Disaster Recovery Workshop – October 21, 2018 The TLD-OPS standing committee is please to invite you to the TLD-OPS Disaster Recovery workshop scheduled on October 21st, block 3 and 4. The invitation is open to all ccTLD. The goal of the workshop is have an in depth discussion, in groups and in front of flipcharts, focused on the various aspects of Disaster Recovery that are specific to ccTLDs. Ideally the attendees will leave the session with more questions than answers; questions, they never thought to ask. This is a collaborative session where each participant is expected to share experiences and lessons learned. As stated the focus is ccTLD specific, the workshop will have breakout session focused on identifying disaster recovery elements relating to detection, activation, analysis, action plans and communications plans. The ccTLD specific components in scope could be the DNS, the Registry, the Registrants, corporate and staff. The expected outcome of the workshop is to collect the disaster recovery experience, to share best practice, gather feedback and examples.
