Call for volunteers to Delegation and Redelegation Working Group
Dear all, The ccNSO Council decided during its meeting in Mexico City to form a Working Group on Delegation and Redelegation issues (http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/council-minutes-04mar09.pdf, see 11.3, page 8). The Working Group is to advise the ccNSO Council whether it should launch a policy development process to recommend changes to the current policy for delegation, re-delegation and retirement of ccTLDs. The ccNSO is now looking for participants to this Working Group. According to the Working Group Charter (available at http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/draft-charter-wg-delegation-redelegatio...), the Working Group is to be comprised by two ccTLD managers from each of the five ICANN geographic regions, the chair and vice chairs of the ccNSO and one of the Nomination Committee representatives to the ccNSO Council. Should you be interested in joining this Working Group, please let me know by email by Monday. 22nd June 2009 latest. You do not need to be a ccNSO member to become a member of the Working Group. Should there be more than two applicants per region, the ccNSO Council will decide which nominees shall be appointed to the Working Group. Should there be fewer than two ccTLD nominations from a region, the ccNSO Council may fill the vacant position with a nominee from another region. Please, let me know should you have any questions! Kind regards, Gabi / ccNSO Secretariat
