I AGREE to the proposed updating. I believe that a deeper review of the election procedure is required in the light of the requirements of the ICANN By-laws, and it could be made more efficient by aligning this more with normal corporate governance and electoral practice generally (including non-profits) but this has my agreement in principle as it is an improvement on the existing Election Rules.
