Council email list archive private or public? To be discussed 18 December under secretariat update
Dear all, As a heads-up, staff was informed that the ccNSO Council email list is “private”. No outsiders can subscribe to the list to see the email traffic as observer (no posting rights). You are asked whether you want to continue this situation or allow outsiders to become subscriber’s only ( no posting rights), so they have follow actual email exchanges. Secondly, the email list is also archived as private. This means that only people who are subscribed to the mailing list can access the archive (excluding for example former Councillors). From a transparency perspective this is not optimal. Again. you will be asked whether to keep the archive “private” or to make it “public”. This could be set up in such a way that to have access a person needs to subscribe to the archive to the archive Kind regards, Bart
