Here is a photo of former ccNSO Council member and former ICANN Board member Nigel Roberts shortly after his being awarded an honorary Doctorate (“Doctor of the University (Honoris Causa”) at his alma mater, the University of Essex., located in Colchester, England. I pitched up as a friend and also to represent the Council. Maarten Botterman pitched up also as a friend and to represent the ICANN Board. It was like attending a wedding in some respects.
