Two candidates have been nominated, seconded, and accepted their nominations in line with the established rules and timeline. If you believe none of the candidates are suitable, you may submit your vote without selecting any option. * How many Emissaries need to vote? According to the guideline, a quorum is reached when the majority of eligible Emissaries in the Geographic Region vote. The ccNSO currently counts 29 members from the Latin America/Caribbean Region, corresponding to 29 Territories, and therefor 29 Emissaries. * Voting is anonymous Voting results will be anonymized, and votes will be identified only by their ballot ID. * Who wins? The candidate who receives the majority of votes cast by Emissaries from the region will be selected. The winner is the candidate with the most votes. If there is a tie, a run-off election will be held between the tied candidates. The Election Report, which includes the results of the election and possible observations by the Election Process Manager, will be sent to the ccNSO Council for adoption. Council's adoption of the Report will formally close the process. New Council terms will commence at the end of ICANN82 in March 2025.
