ccNSO-gNSO joint Council meeting
Dear Council members, Due to the addition of a significant number of meetings regarding the IANA Transition Stewardship and ICANN Accountability processes, it has become impossible to find a time that is mutually acceptable and effective for the regular joint GNSO-ccNSO meeting. As a result, I regret to inform you that we will not be able to meet in Singapore. Therefore, tomorrow's scheduled breakfast meeting is cancelled. However, we will ensure continued collaboration between the SOs as follows: 1. Communication and co-ordination between the CCNSO & GNSO chairs 2. Communication and co-ordination between policy support staff. 3. Ongoing work within the different current cross-community working groups 4. Effective use and updates from the relevant liaisons - Patrick Myles & Thomas Rickert We look forward to resuming this important meeting in Buenos Aires. Sincerely, Byron Holland and Jonathan Robinson
Hi Byron/councillors, Given the cancellation of the ccNSO/GNSO session, there is a short slot on the GNSO council meeting (Wednesday afternoon) with opportunity to update the council of ongoing work in the ccNSO. Please let myself or Thomas over the coming days if there are items you feel might be relevant/interesting to mention.
