UA Readiness Report FY2020 Published
Dear All, Upon the request of Ajay Data (Chair, Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG)), I am forwarding you the email below. The UASG is pleased to inform you about the publication of the UA Readiness Report FY20 – UASG029 (Annual Report<https://uasg.tech/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/UASG-FY20-Readiness-Report-2020...>). Background Universal Acceptance is the concept that all domain names and email addresses should be treated equally. The Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) is a community-based group dedicated to promoting UA with the support of the ICANN organization. It undertakes gap analysis of standards, technology, services, and applications to determine the state of practice of UA. It also raises awareness, conducts training, and supports remediation of technology applications and services to achieve UA-readiness. This report captures a summary of scope of UA, documents the current gaps in technology related to UA-readiness to-date, and provides an update on the activities undertaken by the UASG in FY20 (July 2019 – June 2020).
