Decision on Meeting with the full Board/ccTLD related Board members
Dear all, As you may recall from yesterdays meeting Alejandra briefly mentioned a proposal to standardize the meetings with the Board going forward (starting at ICANN76) to avoid the recurring discussion whether the ccnSO should meet with the full Board, not meet or just with the ccTLD Board related Board members. The proposal is: schedule a meeting with the ccTLD related Board members every Community Forum ( The March meeting), starting in Cancun, and with full Board every AGM ( October meeting) and no meeting during the Policy Forum. If needed, exceptions should be made to this standard schedule. Please us the list to comment. If no objections by Friday 25 November 2022, the proposal is considered adopted. Kind regards, Bart
Bart, fellow council members, This seems reasonable to me. Hi all! I’d rather keep it flexible depending on the actual agenda. For example at next ICANN there might be (or might not be) the need to have discussion regarding Holistic review. However with the remark ‘If needed, exceptions should be made to this standard schedule.’ I don’t object Irina From: Ccnso-council <ccnso-council-bounces@icann.org> On Behalf Of Bart Boswinkel via Ccnso-council Sent: Friday, November 18, 2022 2:01 PM To: ccNSO-Council@icann.org Subject: [ccnso-council] Decision on Meeting with the full Board/ccTLD related Board members Dear all, As you may recall from yesterdays meeting Alejandra briefly mentioned a proposal to standardize the meetings with the Board going forward (starting at ICANN76) to avoid the recurring discussion whether the ccnSO should meet with the full Board, not meet or just with the ccTLD Board related Board members. Dear Bart, In my opinion, this suggestion is sound. But I think the key point is what topics do we need to discuss.
