update on the ccNSO schedule for ICANN67
Dear All, In light of the announcement<https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2020-02-19-en> that ICANN67 - which was to be held in Cancún - will now be held via remote participation-only, the ccNSO Council and the Chairs of Working Groups and Committees, together with some community members, discussed the impact and way forward for the ccNSO schedule. As a result of ICANN’s announcement and the subsequent discussions, it was decided to reduce the ccNSO meeting schedule for ICANN67 to a strict minimum. A few highlights: * The ccNSO Council, Working Groups and Committees will continue their work according to their regular year-round schedule, but will not meet as part of ICANN67. * Tech Day and the ccNSO Members Meeting have been cancelled and sessions or presentations will be deferred - to the extent possible – to the ICANN68 public meeting. * The ccNSO typically meets with the ICANN Board and other supporting organisations and advisory committees at ICANN Public Meetings: most joint meetings to be held in Cancún have been cancelled, the decision whether or not to have a joint meeting between the ccNSO and the ICANN Board is still pending. A limited number of ICANN67 sessions will continue to be held, but via remote participation only. A modified remote participation schedule for ICANN67 will become available here<https://67.schedule.icann.org/>. Those interested in attending the remote meeting should still register here<https://meetings.icann.org/en/cancun67>, if they have not done so previously. To learn more about remote participation, visit ICANN Public Meetings<https://meetings.icann.org/en/remote-participation>. Further information will be shared with you, as soon as it becomes available.
