All materials were circulated on the Council mailing list on 25 March around 12 UTC. The selection process closes tomorrow, Wednesday, 30 March 2022 (23:59 UTC). To date, I registered 7 votes. The ccNSO secretariat is now initiating the selection process. Councillors eligible to vote are now expected to make a selection. The deadline for submitting your vote is Wednesday, 30 March 2022 (23:59 UTC). The ccNSO was requested to inform relevant ICANN staff on 31 March about the ccNSO appointment. The 3 candidates, in alphabetical order: * Peter KOCH (.de) * Nicklas POUSETTE (.se) * Mustafa SHEIK (.so) INSTRUCTIONS: After reviewing the enclosed application materials, please select your preferred candidate by sending an email to joke.braeken@icann.org<mailto:joke.braeken@icann.org> , no later than Wednesday, 30 March 2022 (23:59 UTC). Your most preferred candidate should receive three (3) points, the second preferred candidate two (2) points, and the least preferred candidate one (1) point. A kind reminder that the ccNSO Secretariat will track and publish for each council member its participation in an election process. Based on each of the individual Councillor’s rankings, the Secretariat will prepare the overall ranking of all candidates and report the ranking to the ccNSO Council on Thursday, 31 March. Candidate qualification requirements Candidates should possess the following qualifications: * Direct experience and in-depth knowledge of the DNS Root Server System as it relates to ccTLD registry operations * Analytical skills, ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative evidence, and capacity to draw conclusions purely based on evidence. * Able to work and communicate in written and spoken English. * Effective communication skills. * Experience in managing and/or participating in committees (e.g. meeting coordination, reporting, and escalation) in order to contribute meaningfully to the work of the GWG. * Demonstrated ability in relationship management to support diplomatic discussion, consensus driven decision making, and productive negotiation.
