Dear ccNSO members, This is a reminder that the call for nominations to fill five ccNSO Council seats (terms ending March 2026, one for each ICANN Geographic Region) closes on 30 September 2025 (23:59 UTC). Read more: https://ccnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-08sep25-en.htm Status to date: * There has been at least one nomination from each geographic region, except for two regions: Latin America/Caribbean and North America (so far). * Among the nominations received, only the candidate from the African region has been seconded to date. A nomination must be seconded by the Representative of another ccNSO member from a different territory but from the same geographic region. According to the latest ccNSO Council Election Guideline<https://ccnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/field-attached/guideline-ccnso-c...>, [… ] 4.2. Eligibility to Nominate and Second Only Representatives of ccTLD managers whose ccNSO membership has been approved by the ccNSO Council no later than one day before the start of the Call for Nominations are eligible to nominate or second a candidate. If the individual submitting a nomination or seconding is not the Representative, the Selection Process Manager will notify the Representative and request confirmation of the nomination or seconding.
