Greetings, Please accept my apologies for not pitching up at yesterday’s Council call. It’s the first time that has happened in a very long time. My excuse is the installation of our new President and the spontaneous outdoors, socially distanced, village-wide celebration that involved a lot of fire pits, chimeneas, and bubbly. A lot of the latter I might add. 😉 7AM was not in the cards as a result. In any event, for the record, please accept my apologies for being a no-show. Also, for the official record, there was one bit of activity that the Empowered Community Administration undertook between the December and January Council meetings that I would like noted in the minutes of yesterday’s call if possible. On 19 December 2020, on behalf of the ECA, I wrote to the ICANN Secretary affirming the selection of Katrina to assume ICANN Board Seat 12 at the conclusion of ICANN’s Annual General meeting, scheduled for ICANN72 in Seattle from 23-28 October 2021.
