It may indeed be tough to schedule something for ICANN85 at this time, but I think it would be good schedule a meeting for our leadership teams in February to consider a potential session in Mumbai or after (if ICANN85 will be too tough). Can our secretariats create a Doodle to find times?Regards,OwenOn Dec 19, 2025, at 06:48, Alejandra Reynoso Barral <alejandra.reynoso@gmail.com> wrote:CAUTION: This email originated from outside the organization. Yesterday at the Council meeting we touched briefly on this topic and I believe the ccNSO is interested in a joint session. Depending on what you have in mind ICANN85 may be problematic. The ccNSO schedule is already very full, starting with WG meetings on Saturday and ending with the Council meeting on Thursday. This being said, meeting with ccNSO leadership is easy to organize, and I suggest we do this anyway in February in a joint leadership call to explore potential topics for a joint session. Meeting with the ccNSO Council in Mumbai, may be already hard, but might be doable on Monday (block 4 or 5) in parallel with Tech Day. Meeting with the members of the ccNSO is not possible in Mumbai, all slots on Tuesday and Wednesday are already taken. I can see that a session/meeting between the RrSG group and ccNSO members can be of interest to both, but then we need to prepare for it and from our end we can already pencil it in for ICANN86.
Please let me know how you want to proceed.

Just a quick follow up in case this got buried in your inbox. The RrSG is very interested in a session with the ccNSO at ICANN85.

If possible, we would like to start that at ICANN85, and to make sure moving forward we have periodic in-person and if needed intercessional meetings. Almost all registrars are accredited in ccTLDs, and we think it would be good to establish an ongoing dialogue. We also have a lot of aligned interests, e.g. combatting DNS Abuse.
