Dear Alejandra (if I may)
Greetings from the Multistakeholder
Global Governance Project. You may know that we are a team of policy-focused academics funded by the Dutch Research Council on a four-year study of what makes multistakeholder processes work well (or sometimes
not).
The project offers the first full-scale comparative analysis of capacity, effectiveness and legitimacy in multistakeholder global governance across policy fields, including ICANN in the realm of internet. My own engagement with ICANN extends over 12 years since
being an advisor to the IANA Stewardship Transition. That said, the project is independent of any commercial, governmental or activist interest. (I cc Jordan who has followed our work for a long time.)
We would be glad to keep ccNSO informed of the project. I will be present in Seville for ICANN86 and could if wanted give a short presentation of 10-15 minutes (slides attached). We did this for others at Mumbai and it was well received. Let me know if and
when such a presentation would be convenient and useful for ccNSO?
Thank you and all best
Jan
PS It would also be super helpful to interview you individually for the project, but that can be down the line.
