Dear all,

Yes, overall these are the right questions and they cover the key aspects of the Buddy System experience for both newcomers and Buddies.

I woul suggest:

Add a question about preferred communication channels (e.g., email, WhatsApp, Zoom), which can help enhance future interactions.

For example: What communication methods did you use or prefer to use with your Buddy/Newcomer(s)?

Include a general satisfaction question about the Buddy System to capture an overall impression.

For example: How satisfied are you with the Buddy System?

For newcomers: consider asking whether they’d be interested in becoming a Buddy in the future.

For Buddies: add an open question about what support or preparation would help them in the role.

I think no questions need to be deleted.

· OMC reviews and agrees on final survey on 7 July at 14 UTC

· Claudia circulates the survey to buddies and newcomers mid July (15/07/25) with deadline for responses on 24 July
(pending OMC approval of the proposed questions)

· OMC discusses the survey results on 28 July at 14 UTC
