Bart: dedicated regional webinar. Early-mid Feb, have a webinar. Both for the AF and AP-regions. Bart reached out to Alejandra, who proposed it to Barrack and Tayo prior to the break.

Joke: ccNSO update to ICANN Fellows at ICANN85, pencilled in for Sunday, 8 March

Wafa: ICANN84 was good. Several councillors attended, to support Biyi if needed,
Biyi: lower the thresholds for contacts and engagement
Bart: ideally one Councillor per region to attend
Biyi: especially AF and AP Councillors needed. Those regions usually have more fellows.
iii. Casual meet-up for newcomers: ccNSO Members Meeting
Wed, 11 March (09:00-10:00 local)
Bart: Jenifer to run the session. Staff will be in the room. This is ccTLDs for ccTLDs. Time for OMC to run the session. No need to introduce all at the table, depends on the attendance, and the level of attendance.

Bart: regarding the Buddy Program. Any observations?
Wafa: no hard challenges. I interacted with 2 people from Japan and a person from Yemen. I confirmed my availability to answer any questions
Sami: I referred Yemen person to Joke, to answer questions. Also the guy from Nepal. He was not linked to a ccTLD. Disappeared after ICANN84
Bart: shall we start reaching out to people? Should we continue? Group agrees
Joke: see draft announcements under item 3.b
Wafa: yes. Let’s try one more time.
Jenifer: would be good to match newcomers and buddies during the session.
Bart: let’s limit the intro to 30 min. Max. and then use the remaining 30 min for signing up and getting to know each other.
Claudia: yes. Limit speaking time, allow more time for discussions and matching.
