Within this process I've been working on supporting newcomers and promoting the work of ccNSO in the community. My intent is to continue doing so at the next ICANN meeting as the community is looking into ways to increase participation of its members. I'm also member of the Review working party and would like to be able to participate in this process more, in future and during the next meeting. As I am member of the WT5 WG and heaven't got personal resources to follow its work insofar, I plan to commit more time for it in between meetings and be better prepared to participate in the face to face meeting at ICANN63. In addition to that, I might contribute to the members news part of our meeting, and prepare a presentation that will present the activities of our registry, if my superiors find some activity to be worth of sharing with the community. Earthquake, Floods, landslides, epidemics and fires cause considerable loss of life and property in Nepal every year. We faced terrible hit in April 2015 earthquake, killed over 8,000 people and injured more than 21,000, over 100,000 displaced, about 1 million buildings and almost 20% historic sites were damaged. Hence I was interested on the same session topic at the ccNSO Members Meeting in San Juan that was held on the impact of natural disasters on registries, registrants and registrants and a follow-up session is scheduled for ccNSO Members Meeting in Panama City (ICANN62). So if kind of similar session on the same topic will be scheduled even in the next ICANN meeting in Barcelona, I will be interested to share .np experiences and gain practices of others in disaster recovery. I have been very active especially in the Africa region to assist other developing ccTLDs in deploying various technologies and managing registries in general. I am the member of the technical committee of the AFTLD where we participate in forming the training team for AFTLD events. I was the lead trainer in the last event (Secure Registry Operations Course) in Dakar, Senegal. I also trained and assist other ccTLDs to deploy DNSSEC, these are .zm, .ke, and .rw (still in progress). I also have an invite by .bi this coming July for DNSSEC. I assisted .mw and .ls to deploy FRED registry software etc. If given the opportunity to attend this ICANN meeting, I will be able to interact with technical members of other ccTLDs across the globe to discuss current technologies and to learn from them of their achievements. This is the vital knowledge which i am intending to take back to Africa and share with other ccTLDs to strengthen the Internet.
