I would also make myself available for any ECA related ccNSO Members' Meeting sessions, as well as make myself available to provide the ccNSO Members' Meeting an update on the activities of the PDP ccTLD Retirement WG. Lastly, I would participate in the various joint ccNSO/other SO/AC face to face meetings that will take place (e.g., ccNSO/GNSO joint meeting), and would of course participate in the face to face meeting of the ccNSO Council as one of the three representatives from the North America region. Additional relevant information: In answer to the question below regarding the possibility of attending ICANN63 if only partial funding is made available, the short answer is "yes". In that regards, my first preference would be complete funding, my second preference would be funding for lodging only, and my third preference would be funding for airfare only. In lieu of funding for lodging, I would have to make a decision regarding attending the meeting closer to the meeting date when there will be greater clarity regarding Registry finances. (Also I believe there is an issue with this form, as the drop-down box for the question "Number of times ccNSO funding received the last 3 public ICANN meetings" below provides for an answer in the range "0-2", when the range should be "0-3" (unless I mis-understood the question). In my case the answer is "3", as Byron has always declined it, and Pablo has been serving on the NomCom Selection Committee and thus has been funded by that group for the past several meetings (but not for ICANN63 apparently)). Thank you so very much. Attending the ICANN meetings is so fruitful for the work behind ccTLDs and gTLDs. As a small ccTLD you learn how other ccTLDs operate and manage and you meet so many passionate people that love what they do. I would appreciate very much being given the opportunity to attent ICANN63 in Barcelona, as I have never experienced an AGM ICANN meeting. I truly believe that I can contribute and participate in the work of the country code Name Supporting Organisation, either by being engaged in working groups or by giving a presentation about the challenges behind a small ccTLD. I was given the opportunity to give a presentation about our ccTLD .fo at one of the ccNSO meeting sessions held in San Juan. Since ICANN61 there has happened a lot behind the ccTLD .fo. We were facing some challenges both on our back end system and front end system, which resulted in an agreement to find never and smarter methods and systems. Attending ICANN61 I got the opportunity to network and talk to so many passionate people working within this field. I was introduced to a lot of possibilities and everyone was so helpful and co-operative and I felt welcome everywhere. I am currently a Senior Technology Advisor to the President, assisting him to harness the use of ICT in the country because Technology contributes to the economic development of the nations. Founded and operated my web hosting and domain registration company in Somalia called Techlink Inc Contributing to the development of my nations technology policies & regulations; Communication act, ICT Policy & Telecom Regulations Policy. Have been an ICT consultant to the Ministry of Communications and Technology for more than 2 years and made possible to make interconnections between the telecom operators. Currently, I am the Dean College of Computer Science of Marodijeh University where I also teach Computer science courses. I am an active member of ISOC Somali Chapter to contribute the progress and growth of the internet for all of Somalia. Through ISOC Somali Chapter, I organized and coordinated discussions and information sharing events on issues related to the telecommunication & current internet disruptions in Somalia and also discussed the consequences of internet shutdown that Alshabaab imposed to the Somali ISPs and the 4G blockage, an activity that resulted to lift the restrictions of the internet. I am currently involved in managing DOTSO country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) following the knowledge and the experiences that I gained from ICANN60 Abu Dhabi meeting in which ccNSO funded my travel. I am an AFRINIC 26 Fellow, activity in AFRINIC community discussions to contribute the activities Internet operations and governance of Africa.
